Winter storm Juno
For those of you in the Northeast, how much snow have you guys received so far? I'm also kind of curious how your employers handle the storms with cities nearly being shut down due to the travel bans that will be in place. Are those of you with the ability to telecommute still expected to work from home, or is it a snow day for everyone?
Oh by the way, it's nearly 70 degrees here in Denver today.

Working from home will be iffy if the power goes out as expected. Would not want to be in New England now. Nastiness.

Another interesting thing is the French Toast Alert with everyone making runs on the grocery stores. Do people really not keep enough supplies on hand to last a few days at home?

It's been cloudy all day here, and I heard reports of precipitation falling at the rate of about .015"/hour in some mountain areas south of me.

Yeah compared to me , we're night and day. I've seen her slit a ducks throat once and I almost fainted.

It took me a long time to come to terms with...., eliminating animals...., but if it means life and death..., you'll grow pretty accustomed to it relatively quick. I'm sorry but I know the "doomsday preppers" show is crazy. People who want to survive off goods. Should something TRULY happen, you should know how to fend for yourself in the woods, and if she can show you that...., that's a pretty important trade to pick up, in my opinion. |

This ended up being the biggest forecasting flub in NYC history. My area was supposed to get 15-30" of snow and I got 4". What a dud.
