Vegas - must see things/sober recommendations?

So I have been to Vegas before , but it is constantly changing and its been over a year since I've gone.

Has anyone been there recently ? What are your recommendations/must see or do things ?

I am no longer drinking, so this will be my first time going to Vegas and not getting completely hammered haha, this means I'll be able to rent a car to go out and explore things nearby etc .

Let me know, I am heading there on Monday!!

I know some pools are open and heated, which I will most likely hit up as well even though it will only be in the 60's ( beats the MN weather though )

I've never been, I was thinking about renting a slingshot on Turo (or a GTR but they are $250 a day or so) and taking a trip to the hoover dam and the West side of grand canyon as its only like 2.5 hours away !

Any Cirque show, they have been amazing.

Tour of various hotels/buffets, walk the strip, check out Old LV and be amused by the "freak shows" walking around.

Jabbawockeez at the MGM Grand. Very reasonably priced tickets for an entertaining show.

This. The architecture and whatnot at the check in center is pretty impressive.

I worked a trade show there a few years ago and unfortunately didn't get to do much while I was there. The one thing that did grab my attention was the amount of people handing out "girly flyers." By midnight, the streets are littered with these damn things. Walking the strip, you couldn't go through a cross-walk without running a gauntlet of guys pushing flyers in your face.

If you're into the outdoors, check this site out.

https://birdandhike.com/index.htm

You can go to a Knights game, but I don't think the Wild will be playing here anytime soon.

Red Rock Canyon has a lot of nice hiking spots. It's not too far west from the strip.

Top Golf is on the south end of the strip and is just wonderful. Beautiful views of the strip from the range. I'd 100% do it.

I'm sure you've seen Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Crystals you've probably been...nice for window shopping.

I haven't been to the High Roller at the Linq but it looks sweet. That hotel had a wonderful old automotive museum with some rare cars. Unfortunately it looks like it got shut down.

Since you're not drinking maybe check out some of the fancier restaurants around.

I agree. It was pretty fun. Pay the for the best tour you can buy. It will be worth it.

Edit: I wonder if you can visit a place that overlooks where nukes were tested
. You can look up old pictures of Vegas and see a mushroom clouds in the background.

I'll second the Valley of Fire recommendation if you're going to rent a car and drive somewhere. Well worth the full day. I was there years ago, but if it hasn't changed, there is no place to buy food within the Valley of Fire park itself. Bring lunch if you go. And a camera. Don't mean to hijack the thread. I'm heading out there in April to celebrate my birthday. Any recommendations?

just got back from there last week..i've been there a lot as it's really like my second home.

I'd definitely suggest these things(not sure your age but I'll just roll with everything I can suggest):

1. TopGolf @ MGM Grand, try to do it at night to get a view of the strip at night its amazing.

2. O was my favorite Cirque du Soleil show out of all the ones in Vegas, with Love being a close second.

3. Visit Old Vegas, maybe do the zip line?

4. High roller ferris wheel by the Linq hotel, gives you a great view of Vegas at night as well.

5. If into sports, try to go to vegas golden knights game!

6. Got a ton of restaurant suggestions too if you wish
