Going to pick mine up now after this update. With Spotify now native on iDrive I actually find myself using CarPlay even less...

Interesting, CarPlay is on the left screen approx 99.9% of the time for us. I find the BMW UI/UX to be very poor, feels extraordinary clunky, and one of the worst in any modern car tbh. It also has terrible inconsistent navigation between apps, applets, and settings as if they were written by different teams with no design patterns in place. CarPlay replaces and fixes that for me. By contrast CarPlay evolves, feels modern, looks beautiful, and more importantly has all the features I need.

We are Apple Music, Audible, Apple Books, Podcasts users. We are also heavy users of Apple Maps, and the BMW maps comes nowhere near to be close in user experience for me. How was the 03/2024 experience? Did they finally update all the fonts and not just the ones on the instrument cluster?

Overall iDrive feels a little snappier but that might just be wishful thinking on my part. Nothing new or noteworthy. I’ll have to wait for the mothership to update overnight to see if the remote parking token issue was finally resolved.

On the flip side, the first service was done too. Pretty sure the software update took longer than the service itself haha

Cool, thanks. What version were you coming from? We're on 11/2023.58 and remote parking still works on that version for us, expecting 03/2024 tomorrow.

Was on the same version. For some reason the remote parking token dropped off and could not be reprovisioned. Was showing fine on the app but the car was completely oblivious to the feature.

On an unrelated note I have it on good authority that the RSU is causing issues for i4 owners hahaha. #WayToGoBMW

Did you recover Remote Parking on Saturday and, if so, what was the fix? Software update?

For reference, the dealer installed 03/2024.30 on mine today and Remote Control Parking is, once again, funtioning properly.

Not sure what the differences are between 03/2024.30 & 03/2024.25

I got the November one in mid-February, OTA.

I guess there are a number of new vehicles pending with the same defect preventing delivery, together with a number of existing vehices that lost the functionality which all adds up to a quick release being necessary.

I just got 03/2024.30 OTA today. Really don't notice any changes. For those doing this OTA...don't freak out! Immediately afterwards the Comfort Entry won't work until you've enter and exited the car once. It also changes the ambient color and passenger mirror adjustment.
