Hi All,
I just join the forum and wanted to say hello to everybody. I ordered my e90 at the end of August and this forum has been very usefull help me out with the specs and features. Thank you all for this. The car is a 325xi, manual transmission with the only two options of leather and folded rear seat. This is my first BMW - I drove VWs before - and I am very exicited about it. The car is currently in production, I should get it at the end of October. fdc |

I got a big turn-off on VW. In my opinion they lowered the quality but also they stop offering the manual-6cyl combination that for me is a must. BMW is mechanically is exactly what I was looking for. fdc

Another new member
I've been a member for some time now, no posts until I saw the other new member saying hello. - I've had my new E90 for about 2 weeks and I wanted to say hello as well. I also wanted to thank all of you for your posts and information - a wonderful source of information.
My E90 is a 330/Jet Black/Sports/Auto/Walnut - photos to come after it's first wax at the detail shop. BTW, I am taking it out on the track - Portand International Raceway with the local BMW club (with an instructor) next week. Any concerns/input about this? My car is wonderful - my first BMW as well. Thanks in advance for any input Jose |

Welcome! I've had a Jetta and a Passat W8. Both were fine cars, but the BMW 3 Series is a whole other level. Enjoy!

At the end of the day it was a rented Z4 that changed things, I experienced the joy of a properly sorted rear drive car, and have been hooked ever since. Since the Z4 is too small for me, I got the next best thing in my opinion. Now I have the pain of waiting, but it is worth it...
