Same situation as you, I have two status 47 orders. apparently the builds are locked, can't make changes as of now. I don't know what that means right now, just figured I'd pass the information. I could mean they'll honor the builds as is.

It is up to your dealer as to when you get an available allocation. The order bank is not a static list that goes in order. They can pick and choose who gets the allocation and when. Actually as far as that goes they can also reassign previously assigned allocations. You giving them an updated build should have no effect on when you get the allocation.

It looks like mine just went into production. Is there any info on the 2023 i4 m50 lease residuals and MF? I remember there used to be a gentleman who would post every now and then. Also any deals/experience anyone here might share?

They won't be released until early July. They are currently at 53% for 36/10 and .00190.

You want to make sure you compare to purchasing since you don't get the EV credit when leasing.

Is there a more recent pricing guide? According to Car and Driver, Iconic Sounds in MY23 becomes a standalone option, no longer part of the Premium Package. And it does seem to have disappeared from my migrated VIR. Not that it'd be a big loss, but I still would like to know it's price.

This was a huge announcement as a differantiator vs. other EV's. And now they are going to make it an option? Pretty stupid to me. Man, I love BMW, but they are really dropping the ball on an amazing car. They have a huge opportunity to take market share from Tesla with the i4.

Iconic sounds should be available in the BMW ConnectedDrive store - it is just software.

Perhaps that is the reason of removing it from the Premium Package - to make it available in the store.

Noticed it off in mine too. Hopefully BMW will make this a no charge item in BMW connected drive store, the same way they did with Carplay. I wouldn't worry about it, you're going to have this in your car.

To be safe, contact your CA and have them verify it is available as a separate option and/or as a subscription service.

I have done so. It is true that Iconic Sounds is no longer part of the Premium Package. It is now a standard option for the M50; in other words, you now get it even without ordering the Premium Package. For some reason it doesn't show up on a V.I.R., but then there are other standard options that do not do so.

Wasn't Iconic Sounds standard for MY22 on the M50? It was a standalone option for the MY22 eDrive40 and now is part of premium package for MY23 eDrive40

Hi

Same question here. I have a guide for 2023 but looks very different in term of std options. Does STD is so different between USA and CAN?

It can be very different based on region. Even available options can be different.
