I think you have been only the second person to vbox a 60-130 on this car. I did it a couple years ago when I got it to baseline...but I'm still stock so haven't done it again.
Hey. Yes we can remote tune the i8. We tune a lot of F56 MINI and the ECU is the same so when we had customers approach us for the i8 it was pretty straight forward to tune them.

Am I missing something? Where are the STOCK graphs?

Not much to brag about if you don't show before vs after... Otherwise they are just pretty charts.

Stock i8 does 60-130 MPH in around 12.5 seconds. There a few graphs around.

What we have done in the i8 60-130 MPH is equivalent to a full weight full bolt on E92 M3 DCT.

Why not post actual before/after charts so folks can actually see whatever it is you are claiming?

"A few graphs around" doesn't cut it. Simply replant the stock tune on the same car in the same conditions. This should have been done initially in any case...

If u search for threads started by me in this forum u will find one. I think my stock 60-130 was actually slower than 12.5. It was something like 13.0 IIRC.

If u hang around the SoCal race scene (airstrip, circuits), Evolve is the likely the best BMW flash tuner in the business. This is not from me, but my friends who race BMWs.

I have been in talks with Imran waiting to get feedback from current owners to pull the trigger. Will wait keenly for your views.

Sorry been so busy I never posted my initial thoughts on this... Lets first start off with saying evolve is great to deal with and communication is pretty quick. Install was pretty straight forward. Pull original file from the car, email to them, the email you stock file back unlocked, flash, then flash tuned file, and done. As far as performance? I can't say 100% yet. My butt dyno tells me yes, it pulls harder and stronger. Could it be in my head? Maybe, but the only reason I say this, is because with the electric motor providing instant torque makes it harder to figure out how much harder the gas engine is working. Top end def feels stronger though and I purchased a dragy just to measure my 60-130. Unfortunately in combination of no time and trying to find a safe place to test that, I haven't gotten a chance to test that yet. I have a photoshoot with the car for lexani aug 20th possibly at a airstrip so maybe I can test it there. Overall though I am happy and for the price its def worth it to me

HOw about an update?

Also, the stock 3 cyl mini engine is boosted to 25 psi from the factory. I'd be scared to tune that with that high of boost already?

Very interesting, defintely in the market for a tune to mine as well.
Can you please eplain what youre changing, upping boost from what to what?

And yes pretty please with sugar on top, a stock vs tuned vbox run would be perfect.
If for nothing else to satisfy the nerd that lives in most i8 owners I guess.

Oh and do you remove the speed limit in the process?, its very annoying.
