New Tires for the i8 (Pirelli P zero)
After close to 12,000 it is time to get new tires for my i8. The tires are shot and it appears that the rears are a bit more worn out than the front.
Curious to hear thoughts on the Pirelli P-Zero tire for the i8. Has anyone logged significant miles on them - if so could I get your thoughts? Also curious if anyone knows what BMW will charge if I return the car at the end of the lease with slight larger tires (if I was to go the Michelin pilot sport 4s route) than what she came with? Thanks, Jeff

i've got the Pirellis, standard sizes though, i'd say as good as the originals if not better. seem to give better fuel economy and are slightly quieter and slightly more supple, depends what you like in a tyre

Have replaced the Bridgestone S001s (had two sets worth) with the Pirelli P Zeros in OE size and now have 3k miles on them.
Coming from someone who is sensitive regarding air pressure let alone brand/model.. these Pirellis are just about the same as the OE Bridgestones. Essentially indiscernible. Only thing I noticed that the Pirellis were ~$400 less a set. |

Thank you all for the information and thoughts. How many miles were you able to get on your Bridgestones? I will likely give the P-Zeros a try.
