Anyone order an iX M60 in Canada? Lead Time?

Just put a deposit on an M60. Salesperson is quoting 1.5 years for delivery.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I doubt it will be that long. When I placed the deposit for my iX50 on April 2nd I was told one year wait time and my car just went into production lol Even the sales guy was shocked how fast it moved and should arrive here in August (fingers crossed)

Hey - did your sales guy reach out and tell you it was going into production, or did BMW corporate send an email?

Hey! I’m in the Toronto area as well and also placed a deposit (for the 50) in the beginning of April too and was told one year. Which dealership did you order with?

That sounds to me like they moved your build up to take over someone else's reservation that was cancelled. Either that or they did a poor job of getting reservations in the first place and were able to get you an allocation quickly due to that.

In either case for you it is great news, but I don't think it's a normal timeframe for others to use as a baseline.

I was #9 order for the dealership from what I was told, I don't know exactly why happened so fast haha. Yes it's almost too quick I wasn't mentally ready for it when I found out (my current lease ends next June that's why I was fine with one year wait time) but I'm getting used to the idea of getting my iX this summer
