New i8 owner 2019 (Question about indie mechanics)

So my initial question is are we stuck with the dealer because of the rarity and lack of info on our cars?

Or have they been around long enough that a high end shop should be able to tackle it?

Depends on what you need done. Anything complicated I’d stick with the dealer.
