The battery protection can sustain massive impacts. That's also why manufacturers are starting to mess with using the battery "case" as part of the main structure elements of the car.
I haven't had an issue lowering cars before.
I was concerned about puncture, but you are right; if intrusion happen that's the least of my worries. If you rip the oil or transmission pan off an ICE car, you have lots of issues.

I hit a carpet roll on the freeway once in my E36. Damaged a strut and the underpan behind the bumper and that was it.

Yeah, and the battery for the i4 provides extra rigidity to the chassis.

The boot (trunk) spoiler is the only part that is not released just yet. We'll have details on it soon. Expect it to be similar in price to the G22 spoiler.

AC Schnitzer are taking great care with EV suspension not to ruin the ride or introduce any problems. Due to the weight of the cars, the lowering amount is reduced, compared with similar ICE models.

Looks like they only added ugly wheels instead of perfect original ones. Anyway this is better than usual AC Shnitzer way of tuning - messing up a car with tons of plastic shit

How does this affect the part of the air suspension where the car actually lowers it self after a drive ? Because at times the i4 after a drive when you open to boot lowers it self so it doesn't lower it self to much ? Because the suspension lowering kit looks great on the i4 just what it needs!

We're not aware that the car lowers itself at any time. The control rods prevent it reaching full height, which is how the lowering is achieved at the rear.

Notice!
During long immobilization periods, the vehicle ride level may drop. This is not a malfunction.

That's simply the system losing pressure over a long period of time, nothing to do with opening the boot.
