BMW confirms i8 Spyder – the roadster we’re all waiting for
BMW CEO Harald Krueger today finally and officially confirmed the production version of the BMW i8 Spyder.
“The award-winning plug-in hybrid sports car BMW i8 will be added to by an open-top BMW i8 roadster.” Since the company showed the BMW i8 Concept Spyder at the Paris Motor Show back in 2012 we waited … and waited. Now the car will arrive in 2018. (http://www.bmwmotorshowblog.com/en/b...ter-confirmed/) |

"the car will arrive in 2018"; production code may be "i15" - no further information at this time.
I live in Leipzig but did not see any mule until now, so I guess the production decision has fallen not to long ago and they will go in tests during the next month. |
