Question Anyone looking at buying the M Vision Next?

So Ive seen the pics and videos of the M Vision Next. Being a 7 time BMW owner, 4 time M3 owner, now an i8 owner, the car is super appealing to me. I absolutely love the shape and even the colors. It looks like a newer version of the i8. Obviously styling cues comes from the i8 and M1 but having that M badge makes me excited! Anyone else digging the M Vision Next? I'm curious how the production model will look over the concept.

Looking ugly to me. Hopefully they will improve it. Currently no interest in it.

Looks like an i8 with a bodykit.

I think it is an absolute beauty!

And yes, the car I mean. Seats alone would make me buy it.

I love it, except the orange. Yes, I'd buy it.

I think we should wait, for now only the designers have been involved deeply I guess. Let's see which changes the Engineering and the Accounting departments introduce ;-)

I would suspect about the same difference between ‘convertible’ and ‘roadster.’ That is, not a lot. Just North American v. British v. Continental Europe.

ALternately, fancy v. Less so.

Either way, they will spell it out on the rear pillars so we will know (coupe or roadster).

Looks uglier than an i8 with a body kit. It’s just not beautiful at all.

Id imagine the NEXT is the new term for the new line of cars coming out. This one is the M Vision Next...So my assumption is that will keep the name? I can't find too much info on this one as the Super Car Blonde video is the most we will see of this car I think until the production model comes out, which I hear is 2024. But who knows?

I believe just naming. Spyder is the convertible version which a roadster is also a convertible. The roadster looks more like a targa top since you still retain the rear pillars. Personally I think roadster sounds better from a marketing point of view

Of course 50% is vapor, but I dont get it.

If it's a 2 seat, fugly edition of the i8 with a 4cyl and slightly bigger everyting I'm out.
One of the appeals is the gawky 3cyl light engine.. seriously 250 ps, it should be 400, merc can do that?!.

Very dissapointed. If I want a 2 seat sports car, there's loads out there much better.

I think this car will remain a study, like many studies before it.

BMW can't currently afford to develop again an expensive, complex and impractical hybrid sports car for series production at enormous costs.

And what if Tesla suddenly shows up with an all electric sportscar with a real trunk, much faster an much cheaper? What would you choose?

And no, I don't find it especially attractive. Though more agressive but much less elegant looking than an i8. Not my style.

If it's a Tesla it will rattle, shake and refuse to drive corners. It will also only really drive 110km/h or you won't fo finish a lap on the Nordschleife. So my choice would be clear ;-) after two Teslas. Agree however, don't expect this on the road.
