When I bought my ix I drove it Home I played with the Cruise control it worked great standard adaptive and professional now All of a Sudden when you hit the mode button All I get is not available standard Cruise control still works nothing else could I have turned something off? has this happen to anyone else?

I wonder if this is the situation some people have described where the car reverts back to transport mode?

I am thinking about rebooting the Idrive was taking to one the BMW genius who was new she thought maybe I should reboot Idrive but she did not know how anyone out there know how?

Switch car on
Push in & hold volume scroll wheel until you see the screen go black and reboot

This happened to me the first 3-5 days of having the car. It snapped back to transport mode. I would try resetting iDrive like the comment above, or call BMW Assist to have them remotely get your car out of transport mode.

wow this is strange took my ix50 into Service eight days ago For the cruise control issue and the warning popping up saying "I lost safety features contact service" also idrive8 started to reboot on its own. Normally this service center has awsume cs and kept me upto date on other Bmw i brought in, been calling asking for update nothing no call backs anyone else running into this?

Something is going on at BMW dealers! I think they are overwhelmed, understaffed and the parts and car shortages is really bogging them down.

Our local dealer that we have been buying and servicing at for almost 15 years (lots & lots of purchases) also used to have amazing customer service. I left 4-5 voicemails and messages for my Service advisor about an i4 recall I needed done, and ZERO response. I even stopped by, and could not get help. Odd and annoying. Sorry you too!

Well got ahold of manager at service and got a status seem it has a software bug they cant solve at dealership so are in contact with engineers at headquarters so who knows how long that will be. I will post when I get another update, I guess thats what you get for buying such a hightech car. I did lay into the manager about lack of feed back and he apologiesed.
