Demand for both is pretty high, but attracts different buyers

For it iX, seems like Drivers Assistance Package is the most important requirement, which most have been sold

I think the iX is much more under-the-radar. They also didn't fluff it up for preorders like a lot of the competition has. Lot of companies have pre-sold 2 years of production. BMW PR may be to blame here.

I hadn't really thought much of it and I was maintaining a spreadsheet of 30 something EVs. Somewhere in late spring I came across it and realized it checked all my boxes so got a test drive in June.

The Taycan has been on the market over 2 years and has a real drool factor.

I would argue the automotive press is much less into SUVs than the buying public. You look around the roads and its majority SUV, however much of the press reviews/blogs/youtubes/etc you see are sedans/crossovers/hatchbacks/etc.

You see similar in the Tesla Model S vs Model X coverage for example.

SUVs don't seem to have the sizzle, but they sell in droves.

As odd as it seems - I cross shopped the two, and may have gotten a Taycan if they were more generally available in Cross Turismo form.

Ultimate garage for me would be one of each. I think we have some forum members here who have (or will have) both.

iX M60i demand is about 54% compared to iX 50i
Demand is strong due to the way the way these IXM60i are configured; Bowers & Wilkins being a very attractive option, along with drivers assistance package

Leasing now might be a good choice!

Interesting. Do you see inventory staying on the lot longer? Would dealers be willing to go lower than MSRP at this point?

Most that are marked as inventory; but has been not marked with a recent date (last column) is likely already sold

I have not seen one single dealership discount these vehicles
