iX Price US vs Canada
Looks like BMW is milking USA customers big time.
In Canada they are selling base xDrive50 for CAD 96000 which is USD 73000, while they sell same thing in US for $84000. That’s like USD 11000 extra milking from US customers. |

Eh that happens all the time though. Regional differences can be sizable. Sometimes it goes the other way. Besides, just a few months ago that $73,000 was $78,000, exchange rates change over time and they don't update MSRPs often.

Yeah for whatever reason the economics of new car prices and FX rates aren't comparable. In the UK the xDrive50 has a starting price of £91,905 which is around $98K USD.

Yeah, but the US is getting a better deal for the M60.
The jump from a fully loaded 50 to 60 is marginal in the USA, but it's a ~15-20% jump in Canada. And don't get me started on winter tires! |

But your UK price most likely has the sales taxes already baked in. In the US you add them on top of the car sales price, in my case another 8.7%
