My BMW stopped updating
This has not been an issue for the last 3 months since I got the iX (other than the charging history not showing up), but my iX is not updating the app anymore. Stopped on Sept. 25 and I have used it normally for short trips since then. Anyone else had this issue ? My app is up to date.

Just get in the car, turn it o,n and reboot the infotainment by holding down the volume dial for 30secs or so. Then it should start working again.

The one issue I can recall is after a long trip on Saturday the 24th, I plugged the car in and about halfway through, there was a 20 minute outage on our grid. The recharging process resumed after power came back, but the last report from the car was shortly after the end of recharging on Sunday the 25th. Maybe the outage during charging wrecked something ?

There was a new data privacy statement I had to agree to on mine a week or so ago (when they added "my trips"). Possible that's still waiting for you and it hasn't transmitted data since depending on your agreement setting prior? I just had to do it on my iD7 car yesterday... there was a notification for that... I forget how it looked on my iD8 car but I think it was a little different than I was expecting for such a thing.

Well, all of a sudden, 9 days later, my iX started updating again today ! Can’t figure out what happened. I’ve used it most days during that time for short trips.
