Had a bottle of Realm's The Bard (2013) that I have been saving for our anniversary dinner. Great wine that we enjoyed, but could have used a few more years. Can't store everything forever...

I prefer red wines. At the moment I like German wine, Fritz Wassmer or Martin Wassmer. I love Rioja too, I just ordered a few bottles of La Locomotora Rioja here https://zyn.ca/ at competitive price. That's my favorite wine store in Calgary. You can’t go wrong with anything from them.

Orin Swift's 2017 Eight Years in the Desert is really good. We buy every bottle when we find it.

The 2013 D'Angelo Aglianico del Vulture is one of my current favorites. Most of my friends and family hate it, but the ones with good taste love it. It's very earthy and dry.

I prefer red semisweet wines, but recently I've tried Georgian red semi dry Kakheti Valley and I liked it a lot
