Car sticker/decals

I have always been curious on how do the cars get the same colored sticker/decals? especially those ones on the front doors, near same size yet still the same color.
i myself don't like too much decals for show for like a daily driver unless it's really a all-out modified car then i understand(i would rock them too) or from sponsors, just how them decals all look the same in color is something i don't understand? have them custom printed one by one?

They're custom made. A long time ago, I owned a shop and we did graphics like that. Basically just take all the logos and play with size, order, orientation to get them to all look similar. We did tons of them for cars - sadly most weren't sponsored but wanted the look. Used to call them roll calls. Lots of guys put them on the back windows these days as it's more subtle.

Go to any sign shop and they can make it...

Yeah, each one adds like 5-10 horsepower, so you gotta have them.

Not sure what the question is 100% but it seems that you're asking why the decals are the same color even though the sponsor logos are different colors? It's just aesthetic to make the car look cleaner. The sponsors will either send a decal of the appropriate color or the teams will commission all of their sponsor decals to be cut in an identical color.

But the authentic ones on my car add 12.275 HP each. Except the House of Stark wolf logo.... That little guy is good for 50

Sorry I love stickers. My craftsman tool chest I guess would have about 500HP with all those stickers on it

Can someone make me a Hello Kitty bow decal that peels off of car paint easily?

I want to put it on my wife's car so it sits above the last letter in the car's manufacturer crooked.

I think it will be cute.

OHHHH MMMMMYYYY GGGGGAAAAAWWWDDDDDD

found it!

I wonder if these peel off easily as I do not want to ruin the paint.

@mywifes335 - does this make you want to drive with me alone in her car more or less?

A little wax & grease remover will let the adhesive release and your hello kitty bowtie sticker will be gone without a trace.

Or just apply sticker to magnet and then you can put it on your refrigerator when not needed on car.

Most vinyl will peel off easily with minor residue that can be easily cleaned off. My problem with vinyl on paint is that the paint under the vinyl will age slower than the bare paint so there will be a color difference if you leave it on for a long time.

Less. She's not hello kitty at all. More of a tomboy.

I think OPs ring is busted or something. It would explain how his post turned into hieroglyphics

I just reread the original post and wonder if it was just a troll to pies everyone off.

guys and girls,
i am in South Africa now, the other side of earth as where most of you are
and yes, PINeely has got my question correct, spot on.
the only decal i had was the PySpeed and the E90POST.COM i think and it sure does give you that extra oomph from the engine

and no, this thread is not just to piss people off lol
i am serious bout it, just didn't know people would go out the way and have them custom printed to the same color

my wife hates Hello Kitty, so that bow may be a great way just to piss her off haha
