Saw a spy shot yesterday that showed a bit of the front end. So... the new i3 will be built on the G20 chassis (like the i4 is on the G24) and will apparently show what the LCI will look like (is what I'm getting from this).

BMW all New i3 Sedan launched in China tonight. Use the same looks of G20 with "normal" Kidney Grille. Interior equiped with iDrive 8 which is same as iX

If the teaser silhouette if the iX1 being launched late this year is anything like the actual car, I might trade in my 2020 i3s for one of those.
While the i3 has about 300km range, the iX1 will have 410-450km range, which will be a good improvement. There are cars out there with much more range today already, so it depends on the looks, gadgets and price if this becomes a real contender. https://topelectricsuv.com/news/bmw/...ev-new-update/

I think the IX1 is the replacement for the I3. Seems like the Swedish site has already added some info regarding the IX1

The current X1 is 4.44 meters long. I am guessing the new iX1 will be even longer. That is a big car to replace the lightweight sub 4 meter i3.
