H&R Lowering Springs, Spacers and New Wheels - Making my BMW i3 Highway Worthy

I just lowered my BMW i3, widened the track and put on the fancy trim level wheels! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The car handles like a real BMW now, no more unintentional lane changes on a windy highway! FULL DIY on how to remove front and rear struts/shock absorbers if anyone wants to attempt the same.

Awesome video. Super helpful. I'm afraid to make the car too stiff like my old MINI Cooper. Any more specific thoughts on the "comfort"?

I have a i3s, and the 20" wheel/tire combo of the s model is a huge difference when it comes to handling.

This year I added 15mm spacers up front and 20mm rear.
This improved the ride even further.

Not bothered to lower it, it sits on stock s-model springs which I believe is 10mm lower than the regular i3.

It didn't become too stiff. The only difference I have noticed as far as ride quality is that it can be slightly more bouncy on really bad roads. Otherwise it handles great and much much more comfortable on the highway.

Looks great! I was trying to go for the i3s look without the fender flares (since you have wider wheels), so I think just widening it like you did is plenty and looks awesome!
