Base on the long wheel base version of G20 3 series in China, BMW China launched the All New i3 on 31 March 2022.

The front grille used the same design of G20 (not i4), with inverted C shape DRL. Tail light is similar to normal G20.

Interior using similar to iX wide display with iDrive 8. The gear selector was replaced by a push & pull button.

There will be only one version of i3: 35L using the 5th generation eDrive with max 210kW power and 400Nm toque. The range can be up to 526km (NEDC) from the 70.3kWh battery. 0-100km/hr in 6.2s

I guess most Europeans would rather buy the i4 than this long wheelbase sedan with less practical rear hatch. But maybe some people will use this front end to get rid of the unpopular i4 kidneys?

I am a super big fan of the i3 model but it's rather a little too expensive at the moment ,might just settle for the m7 now l

It's a "boring looking car" but it won't get the same hate from the general public as the ix, i4, or even the new 7 series for the huge grills. It's normal. It's a regular looking car that just happens to be electric.
