ATX z390 board for i9 9900K?

Hi guys, I want to buy the best ATX z390 i9-9900k boards. I used to run this in full specification (4.7 GHz in all 5 GHz turbo cores in a single core). Recently i read that due to the limitations of VRM, some boards did not execute i9 9900K in their specification (4.7 GHz in all cores + 5.0 GHz in 1 core).
So anyone will be better ASUS or MSI.
Let me know what I should do to get the best performance in the ATX micro configuration. I would overload this at 5 GHz in the 8 cores later (I will be using a 240 AIO cooler, 2 lower fans and 1 extractor).

Both Asus and Msi make top of the range boards, it doesn't matter which brand you pick. Instead, look for features you may find useful, like I/O ports, wifi etc.

The MSI is nearly twice the price of the Asus, performance seems to be equal, so I would choose the Asus. But I got my doubts about the I9, rumors and some reviews saying that its not so much faster than the former I7 compared to the price.
For me both mobos are out, I use W7 and have no plans to change the OS

Hi, Msi Mpg Gaming Pro Carbon will be best for the i9 9900k motherboard. If you want more features then go for MSI MEG Z390 Godlike.

I'm a MSI whore but ASUS is definitely a contender for the price.
Personally I think the i9 is overkill for gaming. i7 8700 series should be plenty enough.

In my opinion Gigaybyte is always best. I will go for Gigabyte Aorus Ultra or Aorus Master becasue of design, features, and VRM. Asus Rog Strix Z390-E is the alternative option if you are a Asus fan. These are best i9 9900k motherboard available in the market.

I am also an MSI whore but only for thier GPUS. Motherboards I still trust Gigabyte. Yeah the Gigabyte BIOS UI is abit of a pain but you will eventually get familiar with it.

I would much rather take a 9700k over a 8700k as it has the Spectre and Meltdown hardware fix not found on the 8700k. And coming from a 6700k which has hyperthreading and using a 9700k now with no hyperthreading, I do not find any loss. Reviews have also confirmed that 9700k runs a bit faster than the 9900k due to better latency. Plus the 9900k is a pain to overclock while containing the heat. I would however recommend the 9900k if you do other content creation or game and stream at the same time.

I have my 9700k at 5Ghz across all cores at 1.34V and I get max gaming temps of under 70 degrees and Prime95 tops up at 82 degrees max on my H150i cooler. Doubt I will be sharing the same sentiment with the 9900k.

Yeah Gigabyte this time around has really beefy VRMs even in their lower end boards. I think the Z370 fiasco really hit them hard and they made amends with the Z390. Asus kinda disappointed in the VRMs this time around with the Z390.
