Headphone Recommendation

I'm looking at getting some new in ear type headphones. I have a pair of older Shure 215's and they still sound good but the bass is pretty lacking.
I want something that is durable to work out with. I'd like to spend around $150-$200 tops.
So what are you guys/girls using at the gym?

There are so many good headphones that have different sound characteristics, but I would reference these two threads:

Get some BeyerDynamic's. Mine are UNBELIEVABLE. Durable and the best of the best quality.

Klipsch Image S4i here. Relatively cheap ($80), but sound nice for house and other bass-centric music.

I really wish there was a way to just try a bunch of them out. It gets pretty silly to buy $200 headphones at random and not like them.

To the OP I have been in the same boat for a few months.

BeyerDynamics, Grados, and Sennheiser are some good options. Beyer's are pretty large. Grados may be alittle bit more fragile just because of how the cans are connected to the overhead strap.

I have the Klipsch Image S4 and I absolutely love how they sound.

The only thing I don't like about them, is that I can't do cardio with them as they will fall out of my ear.

Bose would be my recommendation. I have both the in ear for walks and the bike and the headphones for TV (not to disturb the wife for I am a night owl late bed time) also I use the head phones for air travel.

For the gym I've had great success with the Klipsch Image S2.

+1 on the gym, when I start sweating the buds will just slip out of my ears, it gets very frustrating. However the sound is great, the 3.5mm plug on the s4 is getting loose so I upgraded to the reference s4 and love them.

Personally, I don't find that I need great buds for the gym, so I use standard apple earbuds with the inline controls. You can probably pick a pair of those up for real cheap and then get a nice set of over-ear headphones for home listening.

I have B&O A8s. They are comfy and don't fall out, not the most amazing sound in comparison to other earphones in the price range, but I like the design and functionality.

In-ear headphones fall out after my ears get sweaty, apple buds are great.

Beyer DT770s at home for audio work and music/gaming at night. Love em!

You did mention in-ear, so I assume you want something like a pair of in-ear-monitors.

Since you mentioned you want something that is bass heavy, I would recommend Westone 3. I used to own a pair, it's great except the mid is little recessed.
A pair of Ultimate Ear Triple Fi 10 is also pretty. Have great bass and high response.

I have the DT770 Pros. Amazing but they have a 9 foot cord. I look silly on the airplane.

If your in-ears falls out that easily, you are probably using them wrong... And I can't believe you think apple buds are great... especially since you have a pair of dt-770.

the issue with in-ears for me is not that they fall out but that after 20-30 mins sweat accumulates between the headphones and my ear drum, rendering them useless. After that I'll be wiping them down every few minutes and they won't be secure and it's just a mess.

Not too concerned with sound quality at the gym--usually listen to mixes/sets that aren't high bitrate to begin with.

I tried traveling with them once and decided it wasn't worth the burden. I've heard good things about Bose QCs for travel, but I don't fly enough to warrant buying a set and don't imagine I'd use them for anything else.

Anything but Beats. Mediocre sound quality that tries to make up with muddy bass. Get Audio Technica ATH-M50s. Some of the best in your price range. I have a pair. Absolutely love them for the clarity and sound isolation. Great bass too
