New Radiator Costs
I was greeted with a low coolant warning.
BMW have diagnosed this as a Stone to the radiator. The cost to replace is £1600…. Ouch!!! I have the extended / insured warranty on it. Dealers view was that it wasn't covered, but I can't see any terms that would align to that. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Have you either been able to convince the warranty company to pay or for BMW to contribute to the repair? Thanks |

Doesn’t sound like a warranty item to me. It’s damage from driving the car.
Warranties don’t cover you if you damage the car yourself. Just like they don’t cover you if you crash the car. They only cover items that fail because of some type of manufacturer defect or premature failure. Try your insurance company instead. Last edited by Coastali8; 01-07-2022 at 05:27 PM.. |
