Will there be another battery refresh above 120Ah?
In July 2013 the 60Ah was launched, then in May 2016 the 94Ah was launched, then finally in September 2018 the 120Ah was launched.
Based on that cadence there could be a larger battery launched towards the end of the year perhaps? My understanding is that i3 production will continue until ~2024 or so which would give a new battery a 3 year life cycle which perhaps would be long enough to justify. Or now have BMW given up on further development on the i3 while they are trying to get all other battery cars underway?
