Are people seeing different rout options and numbers of charging stops needed between the BMW app and the car's own navigation system for the exact same starting and ending destination?

I am planning a trip from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon and see 2 charging stops on the app and 4 on the car's navigation.

Both have the same settings (15% at charging stations and 15% at destination).
