No this is exactly why we don't need government regulation on this

Why should some fuckface in new york be allowed to make money by effectively silencing individuals?
Exactly. When the small investors makes money, SEC gota jump in to try to stop it but when Wall Street does it, it's ok?

Devils advocate: problem is this may happen to a 'good' company, resulting in whatever negative consequences to what could otherwise still be a sustainable business. Also torpedoes lending, margins, etc.

Looking at today's chart, my gut says that the party is over with GME bouncing around $335. Hope I'm wrong.....

So far someone has said this every day and every day that person has been wrong (like the guy clamoring it was over at $150). Elon Musk tweeting last night pushed GME crazy after market.

The number of outstanding short shares is still out there, and as long as people are still trying to cover those short positions it will go up.

I would expect Friday to be a complete meltdown but either and joy the run up til then or sit back and watch the fireworks.

Melvin just swallowed a huge loss and gave up, so I don't think any of these can stop the retail traders. They can slow them down but not stop them.

Mine's telling me we're gonna blow right by that in after hours.

Edit : $345 as of this comment and I think we'll clear $350, maybe even $370 in afterhours.

Well, didn't expect the dirty shenanigans today. They're on the ropes and pulling out all the stops. Tomorrow is going to be extremely interesting.

Me thinks that the GME music has stopped, and I don't have a chair to sit in.

I'm only in for one share @ $270 from my family's 4-generation stock market play account, which is money that I already consider lost from the day that I inherited the account.....

It can't stop until Friday when the contracts expire (unless they do something unthinkable). Thats the point... buy and hold and you could see a parabolic rise in price when they're all FORCED to cover at market value.

(and for me, my limit sell will be set to something like $1000/sh, I want a new BMW )

That stop loss raid after hours just angered everyone and is bringing more money IN to buy it up... going to get crazy!

Just to reiterate what I commented earlier - I set my limits at $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k. If any of them sell, great. If not, I'm ok with holding long term and believe in the bull case for $1,000 fair value a year or three from now.

Latest reports say 122% is short. Meaning there's 22% outstanding even if Melvin had all of GME by himself, basically.

Make whatever you want of that, but keep in mind supply and demand is a natural thing.

Even with all the dirty tricks the share price is double where it closed the previous day

We are just getting ready for takeoff when the shorts have to actually cover

My man
I like your conviction

I am waiting for the rest of my deposit to clear
Hopefully I can add some more shares

The real fireworks should happen next week
I'm only holding a few dozen shares so I'm strapping myself to the rocket and going for it
