An ideal solution would be some sort of thin/comfy cushion that has a thing on the back which slots straight into the square area (instead of having straps going all the way around the seat top). I've come close to going out and buying some bits/trying to make one myself - but I suck at these sort of things and it wouldn't look too good.
Yep, similar to the modular attachments that slide into the slot on the back of the seats. And BMW could charge their usual 400% markup even!

Hey Evan - just to be 100% clear the link you posted to the wheels is this exact wheel with bronze inserts, correct?

Getting conflicting information. I'm told part number 36115A3DE19 comes with bronze inserts.

Evan, can you confirm before I order? Thanks.

Just ordered one to take a look - will confirm once in.

Also, if someone has a VIN from a vehicle that came with the bronze inserts, that would definitely help.

Thanks!

This vehicle came with the 36-11-5-A3D-E19 rims. I'll confirm if the inserts (36-13-5-A3D-E22 and 36-13-5-A3D-E23) are included as soon as I get a visual on the one I ordered.

Evan@Tischer can you please clarify if these https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...JjaCBSZXN1bHRz won't work by default with iX. I think it have led projectors in doors. Or this anyway require purchase of additional projectors?

Those slides require the LED door projectors - but neither set of projectors (63-31-2-468-386 or 63-31-2-463-924) are listed as compatible with the iX's as of yet.

Will do! BMW usually releases the new program in the Fall, and I'll update our Winter Wheel & Tire Set catalog here as soon as they become available. (I'll also include them in the iX Accessories section of our site here)

In the meantime, we now have the "50 Years M" wheel center cap sets in stock for anyone interested - details here.
