Chargers on the Merritt Pkwy...good news bad news
For those of us living in the Northeast, having charges on the rest areas of the Merritt is a boon.
I was able to charge at 135kW. Looks like 4 stations in all the rest areas on Merritt, North and Southbound Yay. But: 1) The BMW app knows nothing about them 2) They painted the lines on the spaces for cars to nose in, in the direction they are headed ( Northbound Chargers slant north, etc) What this means of us is having to weirdly maneuver the car to get it close to the right position. And it has to be exactly in position as the wires ain't that long and they're twisted in a weird orientation. It's like the wild west..... |

If the sites are new, they will eventually get added to the BMW map. You can also contribute to the map using Here Map Creator... https://mapcreator.here.com
I do see a few service stations locations along the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County in the PlugShare app.
