Had season tickets for the Philadelphia 76ers from 1981 through 1989. Saw them win the title in person (first 2 games) in 1983. Also saw some real wars between Boston and Philly.
Some great games players on both teams. Parish, Bird, McHale ... Erving, Moses, Bobby Jones.. Cheeks. was a great time for basketball. The Bucks were good then too with Bob Lanier and Sidney Moncrief. ... and the Lakers with Kareem, Magic, Michael Cooper.... etc.. I guess that era is long gone... |

Me too! It used to be so fun to watch. My dad used to take me to Laker games in the 60's. I think the NBA got progressively better through the '90s and has sort of gone downhill since. As a Warrior fan, I like the results, but the game itself, not so much. This whole Lebron James thing is such a turnoff. He thinks he's the GOAT, He's not even the best player in the league right now, much less of all time. Now I hear he's not happy in L.A. Who didn't see that coming. I've stopped watching NFL two years ago. Just don't care anymore. Stopped NASCAR last year, about 5 years after I should have stopped) Just don't care anymore. NBA is almost over for me. I think I'll just go for a nice walk or take a drive on a mountain road with all the extra time. |

NBA sucks now. No defense, referees suck, raining 3s. Only about a handful of teams that are good. However, probably just one team that’s going to win it all. Guess what team is that.

OKC vs. Houston about to start. Let’s see how close the teams total score is to 250. Harden ball hogging, Westbrook a freight train. I’ll probably watch 1 quarter. BORING basketball. Bring back DEFENSE.

This summer will be telling. If the Lakers come up empty in the sweepstakes for the prominent free agents, I could see LeBron skip town or retire. Lebron's final years of his career will mirror Kobe's to a certain extent...you know, where no one wants to come to play with you because of your domineering personality on the court and backstabbing and conniving ways off the court.

76ers could beat the warriors with a good coach. If they slow the game down they could have a pretty big advantage and get curry and Thompson off their game. Slow and physical would be the two keys for that match up.

Good. From SoCal, Lakers fan from birth. I'm not a fan of Lebron and/or him being on the team. Most of my friends and family don't like him either. Can't stand his bandwagon fans that follow him around the league. One day they hate the Lakers and next day they are wearing a Lebron Lakers jersey...get the f*ck out of here.

LB finals, and possibly his consecutive playoff appearances might be over. He's now playing in the West, where teams are much better. The 7th and 8th seed in the East are below .500, yet, are in the playoffs. I wish the NBA took the best 16 teams for the playoffs.

I read LB isn’t healthy enough to play. If that was the case, why was he playing in the all star game? Let me guess, there getting the excuses ready in case LA doesn’t make the playoffs.

They're getting their story together to tank the season. I bet if they had a great chance to win a title we'd hear nothing of a sore groin.
