Sad day yesterday, finally turned her over to new owner!

Sad to say it was! I finally turned the i8 over to a new owner to make room for the GTS. Such a great car! I am certain that I will back in an BMW i car in the future. As the company will continue to develop the technology for its vehicles, i8 will become even better because it is the future.

If the opportunity to acquire the GTS never came up then I would have been quite content. Current owners continue enjoy the car. As for now, I have to patiently await for the GTS. Truly once in a lifetime chance.

I don't know if I made the right decision in going back to an ICE car but I did miss the sound and feel of my E92 M3. But won't know till I get there.

Sorry to see you go. But this is what life is all about. It's partaking in the experience. Without that, it would be hard put to develop a taste or refine the direction of whatever you choose to strive for. Look forward to hearing comments pertaining to your driving impressions of the forthcoming GTS.

Wonder where you will put your kids in the GTS.....kidding aside, I kept my M3 because I wasn't going to have the same remorse you are feeling, happy with an i8 and e92 M3. I fully understand your rationale and congrats on the GTS.

Would you be willing to share how much you got for the i8 including MY and miles.

The M4 GTS will be something very special. Good move on your part to acquire such a rare beast. Most people will never see one in the wild.
