why doesn't it have DCT when on the electric motor

have read some of the previous threads on slipping in the snow and the tesla system.
i drive the majority of day drive on the electric motor, and it is a pest taking off on a slope and a curve in the road with it wheel spinning on one side.
is it the mechanics of the drive from the electric motor to the front wheels or weren't they able to sort it?
just used to the DCT on the M4 that would flash if too much throttle, but still get it sorted.

Whenever traction is an issue, I use sport mode for AWD.

Ditto for me as well.
Sport mode anytime I need to make absolutely sure I'll get the response with no dropout.

You can also stay in comfort and instruct it to hold charge, that will also fire the ICE consistently.
