Hello all,

Some of you who know me on Instagram are aware that my car has a custom design on top of the Matte Black Metallic wrap, that was created by myself. Some love it, while others are not a fan, but the point is it often draws one attention.

So when a friend of mine, who happens to be the manager of Lamborghini Paramus, told me he was interested in doing something special with his i8, I could not decline.

Do note, this design was intended to be VERY wild. It was designed for Avery Dennison's Wrap Like a King competition, which features some of the craziest rides/designs ever to be done with vinyl. On top of that, the owner himself wanted something that would spark controversy, and turn any head regardless of whether the individual liked cars or not.

That being said, this design is unlike many other graphic wraps, because all the artwork you see on the side and hood was drawn by hand. The design was 100% hand drawn, scanned in high resolution, and converted into a printable format. That is my favorite thing about this wrap, as all the "human imperfections" within the design add that personal touch that you can't get with a computer-made design.

As flashy as it is, I'm really amazed with the way my design came out. The combination of pearlescent purple (mixed with cyan and gold) and the artwork really come together to create what BMW I think should display as one of their Art Cars. Due to this being an Avery-specific competition, there were limited pinks to choose from for the roofline wrap (as that's the color the owner requested), so that was the best pink to go with. Although it initially wasn't my favorite part of the wrap, it surely has grown on me, especially seeing it in person in the sunlight.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on PSYCHEDELi8 (aka psychedelic + i8). I expect some strong opinions to be voiced

I'll leave the redirect here for a time, but this is very much an i8 specific thread. There are countless threads featuring customized cars on Bimmerpost and they are all located in the appropriate model-specific forum. There is no penalty for having the thread where it belongs - the entire Bimmerpost website is open for everyone to see if they are interested. By contrast, there is a big drawback to putting threads where they are not properly classified, and that is complete breakdown of the heirarchical organization of information. Thank you for understanding.

I understand. The only reason I placed it in the General section is I was afraid it would receive less attention than I would've wished for. However, hopefully it'll gain some traction over here.
