It doesn't even matter it is a M3, it could have been a 135i, M5, or Z06 spinning. The fact is the i3 is a slow golf cart.

Wrong...
Not entirely it depends on the M3 and the driver.

Maybe somebody needs to arrange a challenge to see how consistent the EV can be.

You'd maybe be surprised.

Just stop.

i3 is slower than a freakin Toyota Camry.

This is ridiculous to even discuss.

So?

For me this is pretty clear. The one car sounds freaking amazing and makes you feel like you are in a pro race car and the other one is an ugly ass electric box.

The ugly ass electric box you refer to is an amazing piece of art and a statement as to how to properly manufacture a car.

I got to drive one a few weeks ago at an i3 drive event. Honestly was not impressed. The interior seemed cheap. It is even uglier in person. It drove ok I guess for an electric car, but it was boring. There was an i8 there as well, that thing looked great.

As long as they keep making more models it's all good.

In real world situations below 30 the EV will win with no fuss. It has all the torque at once and only one gear.

After watching this video..... I was wishing for i3 to be even faster..... then all the ugliness of its exterior design would just be a blurr to passerby's.

Beware such talk on here can get you banned......how dare you call that car...no suv....no van....no an uneven shaped box with wheels an ugly "ass" car.

Have you seen ugly asses to make such comparisons . If not please first go do research as to what makes an "ass" ugly enough to be called ugly.

Multiple BMW bosses were given pay raise and job promotions according to scott26. They did extensive research on ugly "asses" and found that this thing called i3 did not resemble the shape of any ass much less ugly ass.

This was all about a dumb M3 driver and what happens if you just plant boot with limited traction. Stupid.

That M3 sounds so good I just want to huck my 335 into the garbage and go get one.

Some of us have already seen & tested that elsewhere.

Within city speed limits i3 accelerates very aggressively in Comfort driving mode. It's a very formidable city car. Sure on Autobahn M3 will dominate but i3 is primarily a city car, not an Autobahn cruiser.
