This could the parking light function. Before turning the car off ensure the indicator stalk is on the off position. On some vehicles the parking lights are set on either side of the vehicle by a combination of the indicator stalk and sidelight switch or just the indicator stalk.

I finally got around to inspecting everything and I pulled the relay and the inline fuse. The connectors all looked good. Nice and dry and no corrosion. The relay looked good as well. The inline fuse had some residue on it so I cleaned it a bit and put it back in. After assembling everything, I noticed the light was off. I checked the lights and they now work as they should. I purchased a new relay and fuse anyway to be 100% sure.
