I think it took me about 1000h so far.
Please understand that I don't want to talk about the costs.

In America, that same swap would use a stroker LS3 V8. It would be lighter, way more HP/TQ, and likely to use less fuel. The cost would be about half, but would entail lots of fabrication to beef up the drivetrain. I really, really wish I could do that. I do love hot rods, and that stubby coupe is just cool.

Added an oil pressure gauge. Took me some time to remove the chrome ring from the clock and to mount it to the pressure gauge.
But looks perfect to me now.

Fetched up those pretty parts yesterday:

KW Competition including Uniball anti roll bar links.
And my BBS E88 are back from getting new barrels, for better fitment.

That wheels are beautiful but that wheel stagger is going to create hella understeer for anything other than tooling around. Nice swap though. I've driven a eel-sorted LS1 swapped Z and owned a full prepped Z3 for many years. Most folks don't go the KW route for a number of reasons, including the spring wheel clearance for the front wheel.

Hi Z3Papa,
I drive the same combination of rims/tires with KW Clubsport on my Z3M Roadster. No untersteering and no real problem with wheel clearence. It's all about the perfect setup

Today I mounted the KW Competiton, hope tires arrive tomorrow....

Sorry for the poor video, I wasn't the only one taking a video of my test run, so I tried to get back into my garage very soon.
A better video will follow as soon as there's nobody out watching.....
Turn up the volume and listen with good speakers

Rollout:
