Well, there you go

To most around here it just represents something else entirely. Spelling not withstanding.

I don't think it gets worse than Bush Jr, so anything else you guys make and export can't be much worse.

If I lived in Texas and some insecure dude came up and bothered me about his car being fast while I was trying to eat I'd shoot him and be justified.

well to clear the red tape, you'd have to at least be able to prove that you felt your life was in jeopardy first.

In the leg or face? That's an important detail.

As much as yall feel is SOP for 'gun control' around here, it takes a little more than just a casual conversation. Like home risk or known crime in progress. And even then..

hey hey hey, leave the Texas bashing out of this. I was born and raised in NYC and moved to Texas for work (I've also lived in 5 other states) and these are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Granted they're a little cooky about the whole gun thing/conservative thing but most of the people down here are pretty cool (with or without those crazy looking hats, lol).

Wow rough crowd. I don't think the OP sounded like a douche one bit. Car guys like to talk cars. It is more about how he approached the fellow and his tone that exactly what he said and I'd be willing to be his tone was friendly.

Chill, folks, chill...

Honestly, I think a lot of men would want to live in Irvine, over Texas.

In the leg first, but then again in the face because his screaming was disturbing my meal.

^ I used to think the same thing. I've since learned that I was just ignorant.

I grew up in NY and used to hear the most ridiculous stories about TX - so much so that I swore I would never live here. After grad school a very cool job offer came from Austin and decided I would give it a shot. At that point I had spent some time living in MI and Portland and decided I could live anywhere for a while.

The move to Austin was probably one of the better decisions I've made. It's nothing like the stereotypes you hear about TX. Granted, Austin is very different from the rest of the state but that's true in most states (Just look at NYC vs Buffalo or Irvine vs Crestline)

At 120+speeds im sure that would be the case. But since it seems that a JB3 equipped 335 is pretty close to an M6,

And it seems that an M6>CTSV, im not sure it would be such a massacre.

http://www.caranddriver.com/content/...Test+Sheet.pdf
http://www.caranddriver.com/content/.../1/file/M6.pdf

It seems that a CTSv is really not that much faster in the 1/4 than an c6-ls2 or a C63. Under the right conditions, a CTSv with a good driver should outperform all of those cars.. but the weight is gonna be a real limiting factor.

Good things about TX: No state income tax. No insane gun control laws. Less crime than CA. No insane emissions laws.

Bad things about TX: Hotter than a mofo, no mountain roads, their beaches are nasty. Galveston FTL.

Additional Bad Things about TX: Supposedly "straight" guys will bother you during your meal to play "swords" with you about your car.
