I saw it first in the early eighties with my dad in a cinema but can't remember which one and where. In between then I would say once more up to now where I keep playing that scene back on the Autodromo about a dozen or more times!
I just love that track and I am planning to visit Monza old track when the pandemic is under control; would love to ride it on a bike because I know it won't be in a Ferrari...well..

A Honda did actually win the fictitious championship in the film but don't think Red Bull were around in '66 then my friend

To be there for the F1 race and to be a part of the tifosi going nuts! Indeed, seeing the old track and the banking would be absolutely surreal!

Notice in the film that the top drivers never did any fitness training like running, cycling or things to keep the mind sharp just looking at cine films where they could be better. All they seem to do is loafing around bars, drinking,smoking chatting up women mostly and relaxing on boats,fishing etc. Even Pete Aron played by James Garner thinking out loud going around Monza said that you needed immense concentration at racing level in GP's.

Very Very happy my friend, at the mo the curing is ''cooking'' nicely in the sun with the drivers seat and rests. I spread the oil on the drivers seat yesterday late afternoon so leave it on longer until tomorrow maybe...it's hot in the cockpit.

My grass is +/- 20 cm high for the moment . I have a lot to do outside , my hedges start to look like the Amazone . And my garden pond and waterfall need a deep clean up .
Fish still look good !

Car still needs a wash in detail . But for the moment I'm still too busy with new projects at work .
If I only was "NOT" essential at work .Everything was already done ...

Like you I have to start on hedges, general tidy up and weeds too but have plenty of weed killer.
I'm sure you have a wooden frame with wire netting to protect the fish from cats and foxes

I never use weed killer . It kills the birds and their brood and the hedgehogs too .The hedgedogs come to drink water from my pond during the night .

Regarding my pond .My friend I can tell a long special story...
