Tyler, it's okay, if he ever takes you to court, you have proof that he received the lights 6 months ago. Yeah, I'm sure that guy is real busy and didn't bother to check a 1400USD package to see if everything's in working order.

Did he elaborate on what he meant by "shells"? What exactly was he claiming
that was missing? The posts seem to imply that the headlights ship directly
from Germany in which case you have no direct knowledge of what was
actually shipped so maybe there was an honest mistake there that was made?
But even if that were true, things work against him since it took him 6 months
to contact you about the problem/mistake so that doesn't make it believable.

The fact that he tried to get his money back via paypal, doesn't mean he
tried to scam you. After 2 weeks I too would be worried about $1400 but of
course I wouldn't react the same way. He reacted differently (the worse way
possible of course) but we can't conclude from that, that he tried to scam
you.

It's your word against his and his isn't going to hold much water after waiting
for 6 months. Besides there is a positive track record on your side too so
that's another plus.

Don't sweat it basically and don't feel bad about it either if you know you
are clean
And there is no reason why anyone else in here should think otherwise...

PS: Can you find me some adaptive euro headlights btw and if so for how
much?

Tyler, I am sorry that you have to put up to such BS. I guess it comes with the business unfortunately. For every hundred positive clients all it takes is one bad ones comes in and spoils the experience. It is because of scammers like that, that we risk loosing a good supplier and member like you helping this community. I would hate to see you stopping doing what you are doing because of (hopefully very few) bad experiences. Hang in there, we (the good guys) are appreciating what you are doing for us.

My advice is to simply ignore any communications from the two accounts. You don't owe that customer anything since you have fulfilled your part of the bargain and you have all the proof to support it. If you are served papers (I highly doubt it would happen) then I would act accordingly. Don't give them any ammunition by responding to worthless PM intended to scare you into giving money back on unsubstanciated claims.

In this case and several others I have the lights shipped to me first! Just for these types of situations! YES i think like 4 people actually got a direct shipment and all of them got exactly what was promised if not more some were sent extra signal bulbs etc or even an upgrade for a discounted price!!!
I know for a fact he got what he ordered and Yes the fedex tracking shows my address to shipped to his address so im not worried about it at all I just cant believe someone would try to scam me like this what a waste of my time!! Im glad i have a fedex account cause all the info is there!!

Yes i need to ignore them thats for sure!!!
I do what i can and I do my best for everyone and if there is ever an issue that arrises as a couple of you know i refund your payment asap!!! The lights will come we all know this.. it just takes time and I personally inspect them and make sure all is well and if i find anything wrong with them I tell the buyer immediatly so that we can work it out!!
and Yes You will be hearing from me shortly hopefully soon!

Its like buying a damb flat screen tv from circuti city and bringing it back 6months later and saying ohh its the wrong tv in the box!! WTF u gotta be kidding me..
id be calling and taking that shit back the day i got the the things..

After looking into this transaction this occured in september of 06!! Willy Sit had filed a paypal complaint 2 weeks after payment of a special order item that ships direct from germany!! he was aware of this as is all of my buyers. the item shipped and I never heard a word from him. If there was a problem with his lights he should have said something then not 6 months later..He couldve sent me a Pm or an email saying there was an issue with the lights. I never once heard from him after paypal resolved the issue once HE told them they were shipped!!!
He tried to scam me by getting his lights and his money back and it didnt work!! Know 6 months later your trying to saying something is wrong with the lights..Sorry but the lights are sold as is and is and shipping takes up to 4 weeks which is clearly stated in all my posts..THere is nothing that can be done sorry this issue has been solved!

Dear Mr. Kent,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate your effort in helping to resolve this matter. I hope we can continue to work together to come to a resolution. I do apologize for my delayed reponse, though.

I have investigated the situation, and Mr. Sit did file a claim with paypal 29 days after the initial transaction. This was 8 days after the promised delivery time of three weeks.

I understand that you purchased the headlights from Germany, but the transaction in question occured between you and Mr. Sit. For this reason, your troubles in dealing with your source in Germany are irrelevant.

Now, the issue at hand is not whether or not an item was shipped to Mr. Sit by you, but rather that the item was clearly not what was paid for. I have personally looked at the item, and even I can tell it is a used, stock headlight, and not the new "non-adaptive euro xenon headlights."

At the time, Mr. Sit did not contact you, but a second claim attempt was filed with paypal. The claim was denied because paypal accepts only one claim per transaction.

There was another claim filed with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) of the FBI. Case number I0610241435219101. This case is still pending and I hope to privately resolve this case, rather than wait for the FBI to intervene.

Mr. Sit has kept clear records of all communications regarding the transaction. All in all, there is enough evidence to prove wrongdoins on your part, if the case is taken to small claims court. Mr. Sit would like to avoid that, if possible. I am sure you feel the same. My goal is to resolve this issue without taking it to court or law enforcement officials.

If we can come to a resolution, Mr. Sit will close the IC3 case. You can continue to do business on the internet, and Mr. Sit will have his refund promptly. In my experience, it is best to avoid having government investigations.

Please respond with any questions or concerns you have have. I look forward to hearing from you.
