Pictures of the 4 series grand coupé, which is basically the same car as the i4

Today I got to see the car in person, and here a few notes:

1. The space in the back when having M-Sport seats is not great, but is enough for not-so-tall people.

2. The roof has kind of a quick downslope, so headroom is not great.

3. Back mirrors don't go all the way down when you lower them

4. The sunroof is larger than in a 3 series sedan, but it doesn't open all the way. (See pic below)

5. Boot space is good (See pictures)

6. Cognac interior looks much nicer in person than in pictures.

7. M-Sport seats are definitely firmer than Sport seats, comfy though, but not sure how nice for a long trip.

8. If you choose M-Sport seats, forget about having a net behind the front seats.

9. Other than the comments above, this car is pretty much the same as a 3 series G20, that's how it feels sitting inside at least.


Personally, I think I will take a chance and wait until I can get the Sport Seats with Merino leather. I have a kid, and not having storage behind the seats, and the fact that the headrest doesn't lift for installing an iPad holder, is a deal breaker for my needs.
