It’s a mossberg 464 and 30-30, I don’t like it at all. It’s way too small for me to shoulder. But it’s the kiddos gun, so I don’t have to shoot it. Lol

Pity. Looks cool. I've never owned nor shot a lever gun. Kind of jumped right into semi-autos from the get go.

I notice a nice Ruger 10/22 with suppressor in your picture. I love mine. I have put many rounds down range with it. I bought it and the suppressor with the thought that zero recoil and zero noise might win the wife unit over to shooting. It didn't.

Yeah I was never into them either. He convinced me to get one, lol. The 10/22 is a blast to shoot, maybe the wife would like some kick and noise? Mine likes to shoot the shotguns over anything smaller and silenced. I try not to figure women out.

I've wanted an HK G36c for the past few years now! Your son definitely has an eye for detail when building that replica. I just had to wait until I move again sometime next year to start adding to the collection again.

Too late for NY State! New laws went into effect today that require a 16-hour safety class and two hours of live-fire classes, as well as a social media background check for new CCW applicants as of 9/1/2022.

From what I've read, no curriculum for the 16-hour safety class was ever approved, it is still illegal for anyone to even handle a pistol at a range unless they already have a CCW, and the state has not provided county CCW issuing authorities any information on how a social media background check should be performed. So, basically "no CCW for you" for the immediate future here in NY State.....

Nice wins for the second amendment fight in California. Both SB 918 and AB 1227 failed. Sneaky politicians snuck failed AB 1223 language into the latter bill, and they were caught. Serves them right.

One of these days a case will be brought to the SCOTUS regarding violation of the 2nd by these many end arounds in liberal states. And they will make a ruling that liberals around the country will decry as much as they did RoevWade. They will lose their minds when that the 2nd A actually meant and says isn't about hunting. Or if some people don't like icky guns they don't have to respect it.

You can see why I bought our little ol' tree farm on the lake in South Carolina to build our retirement Garage Mahal. The school/property taxes are under nine bucks per YEAR, and the day that we finally leave New Yorkistan in the rearview mirror forever can't come soon enough.....

Yeah I've been looking to relocate. It's just a matter of when, not if. Places I'm considering are FL(family is there), SC, GA. I hear you, it really CAN'T come soon enough.
