Thumbs down

I just got back from watching the movie in Daly City...

I have to say it was horrible. The acting by McGuire was down right horrible. I don't even know how or why McGurire would agree to make such a horrible move. The 2nd spiderman was how to make a sequel and this one was definetely how NOT to make a sequel.

HORRIBLE ACTING... although it seems the special effects are getting better and better. Still can say that I enjoyed the fight scenes. I have never seen an audience so eager to leave....

If I could do it over again... I would have waited and rented from my local Blockbuster.

It was entertaining... but the storyline(s) blowed... it was like 3 movies in one... and none of the topics really got explained all that great

I agree with you on that last detail, many topics felt as if I were reading a comic book, see the next page and there is something completely different. This is one of the down sides. I heard the critics were hitting this movie real hard. But, if you liked spiderman 2 more than spiderman 1, then spiderman 3 is the way to go.

Spidey 1 + 2 were a lot better. Special effects were great. Audience laughed while Peter/MJ were all emotional (it just looked corny and Peter looked like he was on the verge of laughing, not crying). The humor was good though, more focus on that and was a nice addition, but OMG I couldn't stop laughing (wanted it to stop lol) when Peter got a dose of the 70s and kept dancing and girls were avoiding him...

I think it's safe to post spoilers by now :P

I thought it wasn't that good. 1&2 were good stuff, this one left a lot to be desired.

Sony's gonna take Spiderman 3 all the way to the bank.
Since its gonna come out on Blu Ray only...HD-DVD is gonna have a tough time.

I saw it Sunday night, I've seen better movies and I've seen much worst. You guys have to check it out for yourselves I suppose.
The first two were better.

300 still reigns as the best movie to come out so far. This movie is WAY too long, the fights are way too difficult to keep up with, and the storyline is way too 'chick flick' -y. IMO, 1&2 were way better.

sm3 was ok at best. was a bit boring and cheesy in some parts. imho, if you want to see it, wait for it to come out on dvd.
