Got about 4" of snow then it started sleeting/raining. I'm glad I got the snowblower out at 9:30pm last night, otherwise I would've woken up to about 3" of cement on the driveway.

Schools were mostly closed where I live, so barely anything was plowed. I work near the shore, where they got only rain, so of course the client site I had to be at was open on time.

RWD and snow tires did just fine though.

That's a 2 way street...

Millions of people in a city designed for half that, locals still abide by this rule: if you dig out your street parking space it's (yours) for 48 hours, if you take it from someone just after they open it up (drama is allowed) city ordinance 😐 (beware new BU students)

We got almost 2 INCHES of rain over Thanksgiving!!!! Friday morning woke to a solid layer of frost on all the roofs. Today we will be lucky to reach 60, if you can find a spot in the sun. Tonight I will be applying another coat of Rain-X to all the windshields, in the bitter cold, with thermals AND a jacket on. I bet my hands start to turn red.

Nothing here yet...just turned cold. Most of time with us, it's a few instances of them saying 2"-4" which is true..and then one that gets away from them and we see 8" or more.

But my in-laws just a little over an hour away are expecting 6"-10" of snow since they are above 3500ft in elevation.

We got 5" or so on the south shore of Boston. Took the m5 out to my favorite open parking lot...rwd mode = tons of fun being a child doing donuts and drifts for an hour...so much fun every time!

I think about 2" of water just fell out of the sky today in Cali, at least in my area. We are probably 1/3 of the way to an average year in rain already

We got about 6" of heavy wet snow. I'm the neighborhood small engine fixer/handy man and I can usually tell how heavy the snow was by how many dead neighborhood snowblowers are sitting outside my garage with a note on them when I get home from work.

The pie and cookies I get in return is totally worth it though.

I'm in PA and we were pretty much spared all the drama at our place. A guy I work with who lives about 50 miles from here had 3/4" of ice that brought down all kinds of trees, and he went without electricity for 4 days. I feel lucky.

The wind is blowing close to 30, wind chill is down to 56

I set my new alarm tone to wind chimes. "Damn that wind is blowing"
"Honey, turn off your alarm and get to work"

My daughter and SIL just returned from NYC. They were up there last week for their first getaway as newlyweds and neither had been there before. I haven't talked to her, but she didn't complain about any weather issues last week.

She sent me a ton of pics of some neighborhood in Brooklyn that does a big Christmas Light Display. Oh...and one video of a rat in the subway!

It has to be Dyker Heights. You can't imagine the displays. I'll see if I can find some pictures on line.
