Since we have 587 threads about the Iphone, who is getting the X?

Releases July 15 for 199 after rebate, and all 2010 eligible upgrades will be pulled to be available for the X.

lol wtf the droid just came out 7 months ago this is one thing i hate about android every month they come out with a new phone making yours out dated quickly

Not gonna happen for a bit. I bet Steve hand Jobs is making those calls within AT&T.... They would do anything to keep the iPhone, and I'm certain they limit the amount of powerful Android phones for a reason. You wouldn't want to bite the hand that feeds....

The N1 is plenty good though. In fact, it's IMO the best Android phone on GSM. The Samsung i9000 (Galaxy S) would have been great, but of course when it made the transition to AT&T, they HAD to neuter it.... Now the i897 is just another phone that will be just bad enough to be noticeably worse than the iPhone.

I'm thinking about getting it. I'd love for it to have Froyo...but I guess that's going to be an OTA update later this summer. The screen looks awesome.

its basically the verizon version of the evo
i dont like sprint generally and att sucks in my area=verizon is the way to go

This is one reason that in the long run Android phone's market share will surpass that of the iPhone. The iPhone historically has had a one year release cycle. Android has covered a lot of ground already in terms of feature comparison, and considering there are new ones coming out every month, and the number of quality apps continues to increase, it will only be a matter of time.

I ordered an Incredible and still waiting for it to get delivered, probably next week. Unless I have real issues with the battery, which seems to be the only drawback as far as I can tell from reviews, I will stick with it. I don't see what the Droid X does that the Incredible does not do. And the X seems to be too large a device for my preference.
