What is the expected discount for i3 in the US?

My wife is in the early stages of looking for an EV. The choice is between an i3 or Mini SE.

I know about the federal and state rebate programs, but what other things should we look out for before heading to the dealership? What should we be getting in terms of discounts and incentives?

We got about a 9% discount from MSRP in addition to a $10500 lease credit in a 2021 i3S order in May, a car in the dealer lot may have more discounts. Mini does not offer lease programs thru BMWFS, only purchase.

The i3 is a great lease car new, excellent purchase car used.

Are you in US? It sounds like you ordered a custom build and not off of the lot. Did you order HK sound system? We're trying to order an i3s REX right now and our CA can't seem to be able to select HK in the ordering system even though that I can select it online in the configurator

Also unlike the 2018 i3 that we leased, it seems like this time around BMWCCA rebate and my group fleet discount won't apply to i3

The main problem you will have right now is actually finding a BMW i3 to purchase or lease. Most if not all allocations have been fulfilled and they won’t allow you to order any at this point. I have seen a few New ones around but you will have to take whatever is on the lot if your lucky to actually find one.

This is true. I just got a 2017 and there were only 30 for sale on the east coast at the time I was looking. I had 2 dealers literally tell me they went to California to grab them and sell them on the east coast.
I checked the listings myself and this was true.

I did like everyone else here in the southeast and got an electric car after the panic driven gas shortage.
