Online service record UK

Hi all, not long owned i8 roadster, bought with 12k miles from main dealer. Love the car.
Just wondering what the service schedule is for i8 and can you get online service record off internet with VIN like other manufacturers?

Cheers

Joe

At 12K if under 2 years old it will not of had its first service

The service requirements dates etc. are displayed under Vehicle info / Status / Service requirements (or something like that) as well as what services have been logged or should be logged

First service is cheap around £250
Second service is not cheap over £1000

Go online book a service put your car reg in with mileage and see what it says giive you price options mileage breaks, just look you dont have to actually book it

Tip book online not over the phone its cheaper

My i8 is 5 years old next month been offered by BMW a 4 year service plan (Service I and Serrvice II) for £540 includes 6 monthly vehicle inspections 2 MOT's Brake fluid changes and Sat Nav upgrades
Even interest free £15/month downside doesnt include drive belt change or struts

Thanks for the reply guys.

What’s confused me is from the vehicle info it shows the car has had service in December when dealer had it (mileage 12k 18 month old) engine oil and micro filter late by 3 months and spark plugs ok. Take it from that they were all done

then says it needs
brake fluid 08/21
Vehicle inspection 04/22
Engine oil 11/22 or 18k
Vehicle check 11/22 or 18k

Most cars just have A or B service ie minor or major

I've been skipping the "inspections" as I suspect they are a waste of time and money. However, I have never found out if they are a requirement of the Warranty? (Mine now expired anyway)
