Electric Drive miles

hey everyone! hope everyone enjoyed their weekend i've noticed when i unplug my i8 after it charging over night, it shows 16 miles then as soon as i unplug it goes to 14, by the time i'm out of my neighborhood i'm down to 13 miles, & there's no way i drive 1 mile to get out of my neighborhood. should i bring it to a dealer to see if it needs replacing? or does it matter on how i drive it? I'll do about 10% EDrive, sport when i'm on fun roads, & comfort down long roads. I'll turn the car into eDrive after the fact, when i'm probably down to 8 miles or so. i lose miles on the cluster way quicker than what it actually shows. any thoughts?

Nothing wrong with your i8. It simply estimates range based on how you are driving etc (speed, "throttle", terrain, temperature, mode). It will vary.

Usually in the beginning of any trip the heating or cooling takes its toll. Have you tried AC / heater preconditioning while plugged in?

This.

I can get the range indication below 16 miles easily, if I just drive it hard enough. I can get it to 24 miles just as easily, provided I don't try it on a hot day during rush hour.

It's all in the conditions and in your right foot.
