My wife's favourite Star Trek character is Picard, she fell asleep about 20 minutes in. We may try again because the franchise is generally quite good. You are correct, he is 79 years old......nothing against old folk (there's a thread here which I actively post on) but I agree, he's past his best before date for this role.

I'd rather be watching "Kirk", though he's older he looks like he's about the same physical condition. Though a bit heavier.

Line of Duty.

British police show, excellent acting, only 6 episodes per season, and really intense.
What's not to love.

I watched it and then listened to a 6 part podcast that went a bit deeper and focused on who could have helped him. My answer: No one. That dude was jacked up from the ground-up.

Just finished it as well. They tried to blame CTE but it was way more then that. The dude was fucked up.

I watched that quite a while ago, if you like it you might want to try Luther.

Really great actor. Like pretty much anything he's in.

Meh, look at how lifespan continues to increase. He's middle aged for the future. I mean, if Coronavirus doesn't kill us all.

How's season 3? I watched the first episode, but fell behind. As you said, the show gets better and better in the first season. Season 2 was definitely different, but I think it's good overall. I love anything Bobby Cannavale is in and his character was great.

I don't recommend watching any of S2 of Mr Robot. The first episode of S3 actually recaps it all in five minutes and brings you up to speed from the end of S1. I'd have enjoyed the series much more if I'd never seen any of S2.
