the car is actually pretty fun to drive and glad i made the plunge. It will be interesting see the next iteration of a 5 series I model

Last thing I heard, the next new I-series vehicle, probably won't show up until probably 2020 or so. Long time for things to develop, along with better batteries and more experience with CFRP and how people react to EVs in the first place. In the interim, lots more models will show up with plug-in hybrid solutions (maybe similar to the i8 drivetrain). It should be interesting...
