just cut a mesh grille to stop leaves from dropping into the bonnet scoop

no.. I bought a bumper grille / not and cut to size..now the leaves wont fall into the scoop..

How do you secure it in place when you're driving? Or only using it when you're parked?

I cut slots in between the slates of the grille so that i could use cable tie to secure them
